On behalf of 12the Executive committee (2012 - 2013) of SCAEF and my personal behalf, a very warm Welcome and Greetings to all the SCAEF members and engineering community of the country and beyond! In Nepal, engineering consulting services took its momentum in a more organized manner after eighties only.
Organization Profile
The consulting industry in Nepal received new opportunities and
challenges from early-seventies when government departments
started using private professional to provide services in small
scale engineering projects. Since then, though the industry is
in a continuous path of growth,

1. Construction Industry Development Act
The existing Construction Business Act, 2055 (1999) has made the provisions on the operation of construction business by including mainly provisions relating to license, classification and obligation of construction entrepreneurs and few other miscellaneous provisions.
